The food at the retreat is truly exceptional, with every day offering vibrant, healthy, and delicious meals thoughtfully prepared by the Kasbah Kitchen team.
Ingredients are sourced directly from their organic gardens and the fertile lands of the Ourika Valley, infusing each dish with unbeatable freshness. Guests can look forward to fragrant tagines, crisp salads, refreshing mint tea, and a range of Moroccan and international dishes, all crafted to reflect the seasons and location.
Whether it’s breakfast by the pool, a light lunch, an exotic picnic, or an intimate dinner under the stars, every meal is a highlight.
Kasbah Bab Ourika is an eco-friendly retreat with an old soul, built from traditional rammed-earth and tucked right into the Atlas Mountains. Step inside and you’ll instantly feel that easy, laid-back vibe—where vintage finds, local treasures, and centuries of Moroccan artistry all come together. The Kasbah has a timeless spirit, as if it’s always been here, quietly watching over the valley, ready to welcome you in.
Each room and suite is a sanctuary, adorned with sumptuous textiles and distinctive accents fashioned from locally sourced materials, antiques, vintage treasures, and handcrafted artisanal pieces. A picture is worth a 1000 words — so have a look — then pinch yourself!
Kasbah Bab Ourika rises majestically above the stunning Atlas Mountains, just 45 minutes from Marrakech’s international airport. Perched on a hilltop in the Ourika Valley, it’s the kind of place where you can take in sweeping views of lush fields, olive and citrus groves, and those epic snow-capped peaks—nature basically showing off at every turn.
This extraordinary boutique hotel isn’t about star ratings—it’s about the unbeatable location, the warm Berber hospitality, and the real connection to the wild beauty all around. The Kasbah is quite literally nestled in a national park, and you feel it in every moment.
"I’ve had the pleasure of working with Niedra in several disciplines—Yoga, Pilates, Circus Arts, Myo-fascial release work, and more—both one-on-one, in classes, and via video. She is my FAVORITE movement teacher, without exception!
She is excellent at explaining how to get into, stay in, and get out of movements and poses. She explains reasons why a particular movement or pose is performed the way it is, which is helpful in understanding the philosophy of each discipline, and what benefits we can expect to receive.
She is personable, loving, friendly, generous, and GENUINE. I trust her implicitly, and I see her expertise in every move, in how she teaches, and in her personal level of fitness. You can tell by watching and listening that she has steeped herself in each discipline she teaches and understands and practices them herself."

The only shape you need is your own, as yoga is adaptable for all levels of fitness.
Niedra has been teaching for 45 years and will be offering variations for all levels of ability, making sure everyone can participate constructively.
If you’ve ever had any kind of movement culture, like dance, stretching, walking, or lived in a body that longs to move, you’re ready.
We’ll be covering and studying the basic shapes yoga is built on. Exploration of body geometry, breath, balance, awareness — and from there, expand into the deeper alchemy of motion. Curiosity and willingness are the only requirements.
